MDI ENERGIA, the general contractor of renewable energy sources, and the energy storage supplier Griffin Group Energy begin cooperation in the field of a solution aimed at creating hybrid renewable energy installations.

Both companies have established a dedicated team of engineers and designers combining the experience of MDI Energia SA in the construction of PV installations and biogas plants as well as the competences of Griffin Group Energy in the field of energy storage.

MDI Energia ensures that the solutions that will be the result of this cooperation will introduce a new quality on the RES market.

At the current stage, the project provides for the preparation of a solution for photovoltaic power plants with a capacity of at least 500 kW.

In the comment sent to the Gramwzielone.pl, the company emphasizes that by adding an energy storage to a biogas power plant and photovoltaics, the investor will be able to manage the electricity generated, and additionally protect himself in case of problems with energy supply from the grid.

-  As the first on the market, we enable the implementation of a photovoltaic installation and a biogas plant along with the selection of the optimal energy storage. What distinguishes us is the fact that our offer includes all the necessary implements to start and complete an investment under one contract. Until now, such a solution required looking for several separate companies - says Grzegorz Sochacki, president of MDI Energia SA.

-  We believe that the synergy effect between the companies will translate into an increase in the benefits of building installations. Electricity surpluses will be accumulated in own energy storage. We do not lose the energy produced, we use electricity in case of a mains power failure. This is the first such solution on the Polish market - adds Grzegorz Sochacki.

MDI Energia SA is a listed company that has been operating on the energy market for over 20 years. It started its activity in the renewable energy industry with wind farm projects, installing so far turbines with a total capacity of over 400 MW. Along with the development of the renewable energy sector in Poland, the company expanded its activities and implements construction projects for agricultural biogas heat and power plants and photovoltaic farms. The company has so far completed 11 biogas plant projects, and 7 more are under construction.

Griffin Group Energy is a Polish company operating in the field of energy storage, smart grids, and meters. The company can boast of a number of completed large energy storage projects - including the installation of the first Tesla energy storage in our country, which was made for PGE Dystrybucja. "
